Overview
ClinicFlow Pro — Hospital Management System
ClinicFlow Pro is a full-stack hospital management platform built to streamline hospital operations through a centralized system. It integrates patient management, appointment scheduling, clinical workflows, pharmacy and inventory, billing, insurance claims, staff administration, and analytics. The platform also includes a patient-facing web app, WhatsApp communication, role-based access control, and hospital-level data isolation to support coordinated and secure healthcare management.
The problem
Hospitals often manage patient records, appointments, clinical workflows, billing, pharmacy inventory, and staff operations across disconnected systems or manual processes. This creates operational complexity, data duplication, communication gaps, and difficulties maintaining secure access to patient information. ClinicFlow Pro brings these workflows together in one centralized hospital management platform.
My role
Solo Developer
What I handled
- Designed and developed the full-stack hospital management platform.
- Built responsive user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and component-based architecture.
- Developed REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and MySQL.
- Implemented patient management, appointment scheduling, clinical records, billing, pharmacy, inventory, and administrative workflows.
- Implemented role-based access control and hospital-level data isolation.
- Integrated patient-facing portal functionality and external communication services.
- Configured frontend and backend deployment workflows.
Tech stack

Key features
- A full‑stack Hospital / Clinic Management System (HMS). ClinicFlow Pro digitises the day‑to‑day operations of a multi‑department hospital — from patient registration and OPD queues to clinical workflows, pharmacy, billing, insurance, inventory, and back‑office administration — behind a single secure, role‑based web application.
Development challenges
Challenge
Maintaining hospital-level data isolation across multiple modules.
How I solved it
Applied hospital-scoped data access and authorization checks throughout the backend.
Challenge
Managing complex workflows and permissions for different hospital staff roles.
How I solved it
Implemented role-based permissions to control access to protected features and resources.
Challenge
Handling relationships between patients, appointments, clinical records, billing, and inventory.
How I solved it
Designed relational database structures and API workflows to manage connected hospital data.
Challenge
Integrating external communication services and managing configuration across environments.
How I solved it
Integrated external services through backend APIs and environment-based configuration.
Challenge
Keeping the interface consistent and responsive across different modules.
How I solved it
Used reusable React components, TypeScript, and consistent UI patterns to improve maintainability.
Final result
